(This was in the National Gallery)
(On my campus)
Cue theme music here:
So there is this ridiculous part in a ridiculously wonderful movie called Austenland that she gets to London and is walking through Heathrow and the background music is! Belinda Carlisle's "Heaven is a Place on Earth." (which was my ballad from a very early age... man, i love the 80's) I declared that I would have this song playing when I walked through Heathrow.
I didn't. Due to the travel through customs and the massive bags being lugged around, there was no way that was gonna go down.. But when I went with Christine to the airport to see her off.. I may have turned from my friend, sad to see her go... And then turned on my song. It was hilarious. Well.. to me. Which means I was smirking like an idiot walking back to the tube.
In the last few weeks I have:
Checked out my campus/done orientation
Seen some shows/plays (Once, Grim (ha), Comedy of Errors)
Geeked out at Bakers Street
Gone to Harry Potter Studio Tours (that was magic... And now need to rewatch the movies)
Went on a Jack the Ripper Tour (tour from hell?)
Wandered Paris
Seen a ton of parks. I love parks.
