Pictures I stole from the Shakespeare Festival Website... Of the shows I saw when we went a couple weeks ago. I really enjoyed them.. *sigh*

I have nothing to say to any of you.

my sister posted this on her facebook as her profile picture for Kaylie's 13th birthday. Yes, that's her when she was born. (check out that head of hair!!) I just love this picture. My dear old dad. He's just the greatest.

In other news, I went and helped Kj with a wedding.. Her cousins wedding. She was beautiful, the groom was dashing.. And of course you had the standard walk-ins of people not REALIZING that this group huddled together smiling together were there posing for a picture... Oh look at the funny people, mommy! (jk)

Until.. the dreaded moment arrived that we (Kj and I) sat at a table with the most horrendous group of men ever to be encountered.. Okay.. maybe just the 2 out of 3. (There is a very special hell for them...) And if I went into detail about this, you would be scarred too.. And to prevent that from happening just know that they were the essence of RUDE/CRUDE/& SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE! You wouldn't expect that from 30-40 year old, married with kids, LDS, and SOBER! Above and beyond guys. Well done... (geah..) They didn't address us the entire hour and a half that we were at the table... until, after making some really asinine remarks, turned to Kj and in a demanding question, asked... Who's YOUR dad? Who asks THAT first off?? And they opted to make a spectacle of themselves at the wedding...

I can just see it now...

Hey guys.. you know what would be HILARIOUS!? If we SHOWED UP to our nieces wedding in these awful clothes that we bought from DI. (Pants too small, short and size, awful tie, coat that is dreadfully small...) Yes.. Let's make SUCH a display at the WEDDING RECEPTION! WHAT FUN! (???)

HAPPY FOURTH!.. Oh wait.. Yes yes.. a tad bit of a delay with pictures and such. BUT! this is how i spent the 4th of July. A couple of girls that I used to work with at Payless decided to have a shindig.. which definitely involved food, sparklers and complete ridiculousness. Which is an excellent way to spend a holiday. Anyway.. here's some shots..

Stewart Falls
Kjirst and I went on a hike to Stewart Falls a few

weeks ago.. Packed some Jimmy Johns sandwiches &

trekked on... Fun hike... Beautiful falls.. I love these mountains.
(No wonder my camera struggles... when i bring it into the

belly of the beast... but.. really. How could i resist?)

Alright.. Random update WHICH INCLUDES... the things that I was so pumped about.. that came.. and are done.. for example...

The Spill Canvas Show..

Christine and I went. It was AWE-SOME!! The WHOLE thing. All the bands all were the same type of music, which was such a contrast to the LAST show we went to. (Bayside/NFG)

It opened with a bunch of LOCAL bands..

Heroes Hero (eh... okay..)

Oh Be Clever (Great)

Brobecks (AWESOME) -- although the the lead singer was constantly coming back and forth from back stage and had SUCH a swagger. Of course, we had no idea WHO he was, but we laughed quite a bit about it.. And then they got on stage.. and he was amazing! So we stopped mocking the swagger.

But...

*Mom DID come out. It was nice to see her and drive her around to some of my favorite places. It was SO nice to see her... Since I only see her every once in a while...

*Linda Eder came to the Scera. She is AMAZING! Truly truly. Holy smokes.

*And I did get the next book- Only the Good Spy Young. I need to stop reading those until she finishes the whole stupid series. They aren't AMAZING- just fun... but I want a full scale tale and ending... blast sequels.

But...

I went and saw this movie yesterday. I am sad to say it was a bit of a downer. But not only because I loved the show... But OH so much more. The script WAS BAD! Although.. I want to see it again in the cheap theater so I can pull a MST on it.. cause it was THAT mock worthy. So so sad. EXCEPT!! The guys that played Iroh (Uncle) and Zuko. They were AMAZING!! Loved them, SO MUCH.
