-i never understood this thing, time..-

i love this feeling. the losing of myself in adventure, mystery, intrigue. despite the fact that i am such a sap.. and it has me pegged.

the only way to notice how much time has past is the fading light outside the clicking of lights as the adults head toward some form of sleep. my mouth has gone dry as i get further into the story. a story that surrounds a play i despise.

it's redeeming it.

i have no desire to move from my spot, except that some form of responsibility calls.. and the knowledge that there are 21 leaves tomorrow.

i will return to you tomorrow.

Why Showers Are Annoying

(yet obviously necessary...)

You have to strip down to your nothingness to jump into a stream of water that you've tentatively tested but in all actuality you can't really be sure if it's the adequate temperature for your needs..

All wet..

Then there is the process of bathing oneself...

Wash

Rinse

Repeat

Wash

Rinse

Repeat

Wash

Rinse

ehhh...

And if you're at the place I used to live, you wonder.. 'why oh why is the ground moving beneath me? why am i suddenly sea sick.. in-the-shower?? unsteady ground.. is there potential mold or some kind of growth under that bubble that i'm stepping on.. (why is there brown stuff gurgling from the drain?? no.. just kidding. that never happened while anyone was IN the shower..)

don't think about it.. don't think about it.. ignoring that queasy feeling..

Ahh.. By this time you like that steady flow of water and you don't want to leave it.. but life is calling- responsibility of work, school, roommates pounding on the door..

Then, suddenly, by your own hand, that steady flow that has warmed you IS GONE and the cold air hits.

Ugh.

Drying: If done too fast... or half-fast... your clothes get confused and stick to you.. (dededededed)

deed done-

Now that THAT is done, there is the daunting task of everything-else.. Such as the hair. If you don't do anything it will do a disgusting wave/flip-kaheeeeqavump.

Which would be unfortunate.

Annoyance, resenting hair shortness and easiness of a ponytail. Excessive amounts of air, product and heat.

All done.

I am pleased with this effort.
