Huzzah!

I am so glad last week is done! For some reason, my days seen TWICE as long as normal ones.. i think it's probably cause it's divided in between two jobs. merh. This last week was crazy though. I worked everyday.. Sun-Sat. And yes, that included Thanksgiving.

Although my friend Christine came down from Burg for the week. We went and saw New Moon and went for pizza- where she played editor for the story I'm working on.

Note.. New Moon. I went to make fun of it.. I'm sad to say I actually liked it. It was significantly better than the first, although Derek claimed that it was just cause I'm a Jacob fan. (And yes, that is true, but..) (MEGAN! DO NOT READ FURTHER!! PRESS THE RED X!)

(hypocrites... we are hypocrites. with faces full of promises and words full of lies)

I liked it.. yes.. except for the beginning and the end. I hated Edward throughout. It was full of his angst ridden horror. I hated his expressions, how he delivered his lines and the constant strut. I cringed EVERY-TIME he was on the screen! bah!

Other than that. . .

Michaels was open on Thanksgiving. Feeling crafty? I wanted to pop some of these people. When I showed up at 4 for my shift, there was a woman (alone) who claimed to have been there since 3. Really? Go home.

I spent Thanksgiving with the Davis side of the family. (Kj's mom's side.) And Kj spent her thanksgiving with the Barker side. (heehee)

I gave a talk at church on an article from the Dec. 2007 Ensign- A Season for Angels. I'm glad its over and done with. Time is passing so so quickly for me. I can't believe it's december tomorrow. I have resigned myself to the fact that everyone will be gone for the holiday and I'm stuck here. I still have my flashes of anxiety and bitterness, but I'm looking forward to it now.

I am going to the Davis kids play of!!

I'm super stoked. I just realized today that its been for-ev-er since I've posted.

I have reached the third book of this series. (1st Eyre Affair, 2nd: Lost in a Good Book, NOW! Well of Lost Plots) I love this series. So original and brilliant. Who is this author? Cause I would like to praise him for his talent and ability to write such an original plot and story line... within literature. Amazing.

This week was wonky, long and stressful. I got written up at Michaels cause i came in early for work... I swear someone switched it on me or something, cause WHY would I come in at 730 when I was scheduled at 1030. That's RIDICULOUS! And I am really OCD about when I work anyway, cause I have to juggle the 2 jobs... and since they change I like to be super-duper sure. "this can't happen again...." (the assistant manager)

(well DUH!!!) "I can guarantee that it won't"

Another day done, a week gone. Time passes as I enter further into the abyss that is my life.. no end or goal in sight.

I could go on about the redundancy of my jobs. The only thing that changes are the people I encounter. Some good, some bad.. some moronic. I am tired of repeating my same speal to people about why our Payless shelves aren't stocked, and that we are, IN FACT, getting more shoes. They don't know- someone has to tell them..

i have dropped myself into my past, listening to The Platters... The Great Pretender... Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Unchained Melody.

I need to go to sleep or work on my story. Christine gave me edits.
