Salt lake city:
So today I went to SLC to meet up with kj. These are all her pictures, but I thought they were too fun to pass up, so I am posting them here. We met up at Temple Square. (we told kj that we'd be the ones holding the red red rose, she was surprised to find us with roses for her. ha ha ha) Anyway. We walked around that area of Salt Lake, went to dinner and just chatted it up. We were all very good friends before Morgan left us to move to horrendous pocatello. Notice that there are really only pictures of me and morgan, cause KJ was the one behind the camera.

Dirty Thieves!

*note, names have been changed to protect the innocent and condemn the guilty.

So i have been working! (YAHOO!) This is an awesomely great thing that I am completely stoked about. BUT there are little things that I have realized while starting work--
1. I don't trust people. everyone has the potential to be a dirty rotten thief and I have no respect for that. go home. and some of their ploys are so intricate it's ridiculous. I have wandered around finding the tags of jewelry that people have pocketed or shirts that were on the 3.99 rack (and up). Really guys? You need this (item) so desperately that you cant fork out the 4 bucks? Nice. Morons.
2. Why do people go in sets of two into DRESSING ROOMS! Explain. The other cant just wait outside the door to give an opinion? They have to be there during the entire process? Example- there is this couple that came in both yesterday and today. Yesterday to buy, and today to return. I personally think that she wore them, and is now deciding to return them for another pair. BUT yesterday, i opened the door for the chick, and both of them went in. Dude, seriously? You cant wait outside? Once again-- go home. Today i told him it was a one PERSON limit in the dressing room. He was not pleased. His cologne was also ridiculously strong? What was he wearing? Axe. Sadly enough, here is the one person that can make that smell, BAD. I audibly groaned when they came into the store today. I wanted to do a little dance and sprint around the store spraying perfume to cover up the stench. geah.
3. Women who bring their slew of children clothing shopping with them are interesting. And some are just irritating. I understand the whole thing, only time to do it, yadda yadda, gotta bring them along. BUT if you are going to make them roam the mall for hours for YOUR personal stuff, it's not going to go well. And so, they come into the store either very distressed and angry to go into yet another store, where mommy has to try on 10 more things, OR they run around the store, in and out of the pants and shirts and make a mess of the jewelry. No.. sorry, this does NOT fly.
4. Along with the thieving, we have the IDIOTS who attempt to remove the ink tag off the clothing. Truthfully, I wondered what would happen. I got my answer. I go into one of the dressing rooms to put clothes away and notice a weird blue stain on the top back of a pair of pants.. Only to find blue ink now dripping all down MY finger along with the jeans. I try (successfully, mind you) to not get ink on the other clothes OR my own as I rush to the front to dispose of them and go wash my hands. (it doesnt come off) Boo.
5. Bartering is not a part of this kind of shopping. "Nicole" has a customer that comes in and try to get stuff from the discount rack and barter.. "well, its _____, can you knock off a few bucks"
No. She came in like three times today.
6. Sucky employees. Part of the reason I came up here was to help "Nicole" out, because she has a hard time with either employees not doing their job or just being a complete slacker. EXAMPLE. Nicole opened the store today. She was supposed to get off at 330. Did she? Nope. Her assistant had a sick note and couldnt come in, and the associate that was supposed to come tonight, we'll call her Collista, "didn't realize" that she had to work and couldnt come in. Really Collista? How is that supposed to fly with your NEW BOSS? It doesn't. Nicole couldnt get a hold of anyone to cover the rest of the evening. (I was already working, and just extending my shift a few more hours- not too big of a deal, but there has to be 2 at night, especially on saturday) Guess who might not have a job in a week or so? Oh-- the associates that didnt return her phone calls.. so sad.

Anyway.. I think there was more, but i cant remember at the moment and i want to watch Freaks and Geeks and go to bed... or something..

later kids.
