They had this cool thing down at UVU. It was a murder mystery dinner? Basically playing out this "college reunion"- set in the 1940's, and of course you have to dress up accordingly. Thankfully we raided Savers & Grandma Betty's closet to find some treasures.

dressing up is fun.

I love us...
And this was at our last flapjack friday. I had to put it too because I like this picture. And it was our last flapjack friday, and that was a bit of a downer.

that is all..
LATERS!

I am constantly distracted by what's going on next. I can't actually focus on the thing at hand because there are a million other things I would rather think about.
Such as:
Bayside this weekend
Harry Potter 7(.5)
Sara Bareilles
Seattle in November

I'm not sure why I feel so calm. It's freaking me out. (merh?)

And the MAIN event would be going HOME FOR CHRISTMAS! (Home meaning AZ) I am so excited it's not even funny. I keep thinking about the things I can do, and seeing my siblings (besides Jared of course). Seeing my nieces and nephews. I can't contain myself. Still have like 2 months for that. One day at a time.... one day at a time. yeesh.

In other news, I had "donated" plasma a couple times... I can use the cash. Alas, I passed out both times, so I have declared it done. It makes me lose a day too. Downer.

This is boring. I'm bored.
G'night.

BUT!
This picture makes me super happy. The girls met Matt (the lead singer from TCC). Sorry Bek. I just can't contain myself or my joy.

A FUN. Weekend!
Christine and I went to a show this weekend up in SLC, for the band, FUN. Yes, that's what they are called. (Thank goodness I have someone who will go to these things with me..)
You should check them out, ESPECIALLY these songs:
-I Wanna Be the One
-All the Pretty Girls
-Light a Roman Candle
-Be Calm
-The Gambler
Blast, I've listed half their songs.
Opening guy, Jarrod Gorbel (I liked him. He was from Honorary Title)
Steel Train (They were a kick)

(I was entertained by the keyboardist and his bare feet)

FUN.

Next up! BAYSIDE!! YEHESSSS!! They have a new album coming out in February.

A random note, and I swear I will go learn 2o more GRE words.

So for the last 3 days I have been wearing matching socks. (WHAT!?) Yes. It's true. If you are sitting there thinking, "Self, I wear matching socks all the time, what's her trauma about," well let me tell you. I don't wear matching socks. Ok. Maybe that's a lie, cause I do on occasion, and sometimes FOR a special occasion. (ha)

Why? You may ask? Well..
1. I like cool socks. Stripes, polka dots, colorful, etc. So it's even MORE entertaining for me when I look down at one foot to see ONE crazy sock, for the next one to move forward and have a completely different one.
2. And really, I don't care to look around for socks that match. (Although they do have to be the same size. I can't throw together a knee high with an ankle sock. It just FEELS weird.)
3. It kind of became a staple and normal, for me.

SO, when I am wearing matching socks, I tend to stop for a moment at the reaction that I have gotten from those few people that take notice and comment on such a marvel. I came to realize today that I am now (almost) just as entertained by wearing matching socks, when that rare occurrence happens. Huh... Strange.

Why was I wearing matching socks?
Maybe stress...
Maybe that part of my brain started functioning...
Maybe I have to do laundry.

I lied... I think I read myself wrong.
("I'm gonna eat you and your whole FAMILY!!!" I need to stop using this quote, no one knows)

I was working on my sis-in-laws bag while watching wait for it Camp Rock 2. Yea, laugh it up. Christine’s old roommate wrote this letter which I find particularly hilarious and I hope that the lovely ladies of 210 won't be upset at my sharing this:

Dear Disney Channel,
I just finished watching the recently released Disney Channel original movie entitled, "Starstruck". Let me first say that Sterling Knight left me completely starstruck after his most amazing acting. But that's not my purpose in writing you at this time. Let me tell you about how you are ruining my life.
As you know, the society we live in is getting continuously more and more corrupted. Music, movies, and television shows are becoming increasingly crude, violent, vulger, and immoral. Like many other good folks in this world, the Disney Channel has become my number one source of entertainment because I know I can always count on it to satisfy my entertainment needs as well as keeping things clean.
But you see, I am almost twenty years old. Yes, it is true. And the Disney Channel remains my favorite station. I am a devoted viewer. The thing is, I look to these forms of entertainment as guides for my life so that I can know how to handle the cool kids that want to sing, princesses my dad brings home that I have to help blend into society, and most importantly, I look to them for guidance in my relationships.
It seems that lately you have been excluding kissing from your movies. I want to know WHY!? I don't think you understand the impact this is having on me. If I don't see kissing in these movies, I will not know what to do when the time arises for me to kiss a charming young suitor I fancy. This lack of direction is crippling me for life. Do you realize how many lives you are ruining by not showing the young children (and some older ones too....) how to handle these situations? It is a crime against humanity, and I am calling you to repentance.
So if you could please, add some basic and simple, yet sweet kissing to your movies from now on so that this rising generation will know how to handle the world we live in.

With much love, Amy Doesn't Know How To Kiss or Have Relationships (names have been changed to protect the innocent)

So I've been thinking, and here's what I have learned from CAMP ROCK 2:

1. Calling the cute guy an extremely ridiculous name in regards to his mood is a good way to capture his attention.

2. If I break into song and dance at camp, everyone will suddenly know the song and break into my super cool coordinated moves.

3. It’s totally okay for that super cute guy to perch himself in a secluded spot and watch the girl he likes from afar with binoculars, while she plays her piano, in the middle of a forest. (?)

4. People don’t know how to hug.

5. As a girl, we’re supposed to be very forward and share all of our silly personality quirks and then demand the guy we find super cute to recipricate.

6. Singing a love song to the one you like after a fight should be done really far away from eachother, at the porch of their separate cabins and end with the guy turning dramatically away.

7. When that Disney Channel movie kiss finally DOES happen, the girl has to initiate it.

8. If you’re a rock star, it means that the fan is blowing through your rock star hair, and you should wear tight pants and have a tamborine.

9. When you can’t get those words out, putting them into song form is the way to any girls heart. (possibly true, but what serenading a girl just seems weird. What’s she supposed to do while she sits there?)

10. It’s okay to lose the competition, because in the end all the suckers that won were total losers and they want to go to your camp next year

Night kids.
