okay... so lets see. where to start:

California consisted of:
*Going to this Americana mall- it was pretty insane. People definitely lived above the mall.
*Whole lotta pie- Christine's mom is a coupon shopper, so although her family doesnt eat a lot of pies, she bought like 20 pies. But hey, they were really cheap.
*The chinese theatre that has all the famous people's handprints and feet. It was kind of funny and cool- I guess. Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne. I will post pictures when I can use my computer again.
*Prep for a garage sale that was on saturday. I say WOW. There was a whole lotta stuff there. It made for a VERY long saturday.
*Santee Alley: (Fashion District)- twice. I went the first time with the whole Hill clan- and the second time with my friend Becky. It was kind of cool- and I am usually a pretty logical spender- until it comes to movies. It is then-that all hope is lost.
*Group blind date. At least blind for me. Merh. We went to this really great Korean BBQ- i say wow. We need one of those... everywhere. Then we went to Citywalk at Universal and did a picture scavenger hunt. It was a lot of fun and the guys were cool.
*Excessive amounts of Veronica Mars: They were having a deal at target-the seasons were 18 bucks! (love target). Everyone got a season. Becky got season 1, Christine got season 2, Jane Ann got season 3. (And-- it might be completely my fault that they are into it. woops. (ha not so much).
*UNIVERSAL STUDIOS! It was just Christine, Jane Ann and me. It was so much fun. We went on the Simpson's ride, the Mummy ride (twice), Jurassic Park (twice), saw Waterworld production, and went on the Studio tour. Cool cool stuff. Once again, pictures will follow once I get them off MY computer.

Currently: In Idaho. Morgan picked me up from the airport yesterday. I have to say that once I got off the airplane and went to baggage claim- and realized where I was- i had a large LARGE sinking feeling. I was back.. Felt like I hadnt left. Merh. Lousy sensation. I finished school! And it felt like I was just going back to Idaho for another semester. But I wont do it! gah!

!!CALIFORNIA!!
So I have arrived in sunny CA- and what a trip! Holy smokes! The whole time difference thing really throws me OFF! merh.
Kj and I drove to Boston, but before that- i stupidly broke my phone, lost my charger and mayhem ensued. gah!
But KJ took me to a production of: The 25th Annual Putnam Country Spelling Bee the musical. It was so hilarious and so good. I would see it again in a heartbeat. What a great show. It was fun to do this with her. I will have to write more about it at a later date... Because there is just so much i would go in complete overload and explode- out of pure joy and excitement. ha ha ha.
Anyway- we got up at 430, left at 5, arrived at 530 and I flew out at 645. Flight to PHX- layover, flight to CA- and magically i arrived at noon? Time change is killing me.
I am so excited to see Christine. She is one of my favorite people. We went to this really cool mall, where i got the number for the insurance so I could replace my phone. (lame amanda-- lame) and went to the target- that was IN THE MALL! (weird) and we also went to this cool hoity toity mall across the way that had a 3 floor barnes and noble and other stores- AND apartments above it. (live above the mall? are you serious???)
i am now officially bored with this post. I pity those who might actually read it.

ok.. so my little speals lately have been, well.. short. So lets see what randomness can come out. 

Kj, Soren and I have come up with a new system this week. I come into town with them when they come to work, they give me the keys to their car and I go and wander while they work. And I dont have to stay the entire time that KJ is at work... and I can go home when I get bored and I go and pick them up when the day is done. It works out pretty well I think. And I get to check my email when I get into town. I wish we had thought of this a couple weeks ago. Boothbay is such a silly tourist town and it is pretty great.The people here are nice.. always friendly and saying hello. I really wander around Shermanns (the local bookstore) for a really long time. I really shouldnt be given free reign in a bookstore. I go a little crazy. 

Although there are some days that I just hang out at the house... pick obscene amounts of blueberries and if Anne is home, help her with stuff. (stupid blueberries) but there has been a couple days that it is pouring down rain and so Soren cant go into work. (He works on a boat) No one wants to go sailing or fishing in the rain. 

I really like the Barker's ward. It's a very small ward and its kind of neat to come back after a year and have people remember who I am. I like the small ward-- its harder to become lost and forgotten. Unless you are looking to become lost. 

I leave next week. The Barker's offered to drive me to Boston on Tuesday so that I wouldnt have to take a bus or something. Plus, next wednesday is Anne's birthday, so they were going to hang out in Boston. But because of insane schedules, Kj is going to take me when she gets off work at 2. Did I put this before? I feel like a repeater. That is the new plan. 

OH! we went and say Batman (Dark Knight) this week. It was AWESOME!! So I had already seen it, but Kj and Soren hadnt. Holy smokes. So good. We had to drive 45 minutes to the theater. 

Hmm. yea.. next week is leaving. I am so disappointed to leave. 

Soren got a rapier sword this week and has been really into trying to teach Kj how to fight/stage fight. Silly boy with his swords. 

Kj starts teaching in Utah in January.. So close.. and still so far away. 

merh. i'm bored. i cant believe i planned this crazy long trip

it is done.. it took me- well, yesterday to read it. I am not sure how i feel about it.. 

jury is definitely out on this one. will let you know when it comes back into session. hmmm.

and... thats it-- thats all i got. 

i am really having a blast here. i love maine and love the barker's. i am sure they will get sick of me soon enough, but hey! by then i will be gone again. ha ha
