Goodbyes vs. see you later

The time has come. I can't believe it. I am sitting here on my couch knowing that this is my last day here for a while. I feel like this is the end of something great. 

New chapter, yes I know. 

Going to England, yes that's awesome. 

But this is a surreal feeling. I emptied my room last night and I am having flashbacks of when I first moved in. Everything was fresh and new. The essence of finality now reigns. That feeling of loss is creeping in. 

This city. These people. 

Everything is about to change. 

This will be hard.
