1. Got to talk to my dear dear friend Ruth, who I haven't spoken to in eons.
2. Started Institute and have already been blessed by its insights
3. Went to the temple with Mom and discussed things of heaven. It was beautiful & inspiring. I felt overwhelming love from my Father in heaven, to the point that I felt I was brimming with it.
4. Got to listen to 8 hours of my church leaders at General Conference. I look forward to this every time it comes around and to listen to it again.
5. Went to Pickles. It was awesome.
6. Saw my dear friend Jodi. We met up, chatted and I am reminded how much I love my Inn people and they seem to be particularly keen on me.
7. Got sick because Whidbey Island HATES ME. Don't tell my coworkers.. I'm absolutely coming to work tomorrow, unless I am unable to function.
8. Made Pear Pie
I'm going to bed. I've got to be up in 6 hours?
BTW. There was a talk given today, the value of women and men standing up to be men. There was mention of more women having careers now than ever before... mind I think that's fine. I want to be educated. I want to have that option of a good job... However, if I honestly had a choice in the matter I'd have no problem getting hitched and then at some point being a stay at home mom. Of course I don't know how things would work out but I'm keen on the idea. I always have been. (I always feel like I would sound like a crazy marriage hungry fiend if I admit to that... whatever. I'm not.) In the meantime, I will further my education. I am applying to grad school. I will further my career. What else is there to do?
