I have realized something insanely important for my sanity and well-being

My spiritual & physical well-being is DIRECTLY REFLECTED in the state of order (or lack thereof) in my room/car/etc.

Now, to my complete abhorrence, I will actually post for the general populace THAT at some point yesterday, my room was total chaos. It had returned to total chaos. I would come in, drop my stuff, remove my shoes where I stood and flop onto my bed/chair/whatever. Read a book, watch a show. I had my excuses for this behavior. Supposed excuses.

But this came to mind:
Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God.
D&C 88:119

Wow.. I didn't even think. Thank goodness for those little insights I'm blessed with. Thank goodness that I'm in a frame of mind to listen. Thank goodness for these reminders. I don't know where I'd be without them.

The mind clears as organization and sanity returns. Ahh. Yes. I remember this feeling.
