there was a moment. i was heading to work and driving down the little abandoned street that i happen to live on. to my right, i pass my house and the scene dropped and what i saw was the valley below and the mountains looming over the city. my eyes were drawn to a single point that i recognized to be the provo temple. a beacon of white calling me home. i continued down and noticed the cloudy sky couldn't contain the sun as it shined through the side of squaw peak towards timp, illuminating the valley and mountainside, the hillside green but the mountain peaks still struggling to melt off their last bit of snow. i paused for a moment taking in the view, sighed turning left towards my job, where i waited for a good 15 minutes waiting for someone to show and open the doors. i looked past the barricade of businesses and busy streets to hopefully see a glimmer of what i had glimpsed just 20 minutes prior, and once again turned away to the dank darkness the awaited me for the day.

I NEED the recipe for the sonic slush...it is a weakness. Thank goodness I don't live TOO close to a sonic, or I would be there every day for happy hour!
