Let's see let's see........

I was stuck in Orem this year for Christmas, which ended up not being as bad as I thought it would be. Although if I didn't already know that I was going home in January, that would have been a totally different story.

Christmas Eve: Made my fort and I was consumed by the childlike enthusiasm that I was engulfed by when I was younger. It was ridiculous and fantastic.

I went to my friend Jade's house for their dinner. It was weird. Partially because when I work with Jade, I have to be friendly with customers and such, so my natural introvert nature is smothered.. So Jade tells her family about me... the work version... then they meet me and wonder why I'm not as funny as the stories. poor suckers.

Christmas Day: Slept in my fort.. Opened my gifts that my family had sent me. I got to have green eggs and ham, which is a Davis family tradition and then went to the Layton's (Tara's inlaws) and had Christmas dinner/lunch with them. We played this cool game called Ticket to Ride... It was an okay way to spend Christmas.. if not with my own family.

Day after: BEST DAY! Besides having to be at work at 530 am. But that meant I was done early.. I went to Target and Barnes and Noble.. I found the 4th book in this Peter and the Starcatchers series, which i didnt think they would write.. The way they ended the 3rd.. I thought it was done.. HOWEVER! It was not. YAY! I went and saw Sherlock Holmes (STELLAR!) with Tara and Ben and fam. And then I got chinese.. which was good.. however.. I wont be having chinese food for at least a year.

I am so so pumped to go home. 2 weeks.

And hey. . . It's New Years Eve... I can't believe it. 2010. Wow.. The 25th year. It's gonna be epic.
