***********
I was so excited to see an actual wedding and the huge bonus was that I got to participate as a bridesmaid. I was wearing an amazing dress and rockin' cool heels, although a horrendous hairdo plowed my head; courtesy of a friend of the bride. I did my simplistic walking down the stairs and the isle, praying I didn't biff it in front of the crowd. I laughed with everyone else when Ben (age 4?) went practically RUNNING down the isle, chucking the pillow at Jared and bolting. The super ceremonial music started, indicating that the bride was going to make her entrance. I saw Megan at the top of the stairs and begin to descend, holding her dad's arm. She was stunning, everything a bride would want to be on her wedding day. All eyes were on her, but I turned away to look at Jared looking at his bride with complete joy, love and wonder. I still remember that spark in his eyes when seeing her. My mind flashed to a few weeks prior; Megan had asked Jared if he wanted to see her dress on before the wedding. He was persistent with his no, telling her that he didn't care what it looked like, but as long as she looked like a princess. I watched him as he waited for his princess to stand before him. Words were spoken, vows exchanged, and the love in his eyes never left hers. It was that look and promise to have and hold that made it completely worth it all.

Happy Anniversary Jared and Megan.
I love you both.

That was so sweet Amanda. I started getting choked up a bit reading it. I'm glad you were part of our day (sorry about the hair do though!).
