I never learned to juggle.
Anyway.. besides the juggling, this same lady came in at some point cause one of the items hadnt rung up as half price.. Why? Cause the morons that put the sku number on one of her products was ONE NUMBER OFF. There was this whole frenzy of mayhem that ensued with this.. And not knowing what to do with this product that she apparently wanted desperately. So that was craziness. I also realized that i had to work with this one girl... I'll call her.. Paige. I would hate to say she is as smart as a pile of bricks, but sometimes I wonder. Especially when I have to tell her again and again the same information. (shes worked there since november) And then to top it off, instead of greeting the customer and telling them about whatever sale is going on.. she goes up mechanically.. like a freaking robot and says- HI YA'LL... we-are-having-a-sale-on-our-shirts........... buy-one-get-next-half-off.?--- By the time she gets through this ordeal the customer is staring at her in disbelief because it took so long to spit out and the way she said it, that they almost bolt. Poor suckers.
And you wanna know the icing on the cake? I am standing there talking to Morgan (my boss/rockin cool friend) and I see this lady standing on the bench of the dressing room telling me she is locked in.. SHE WAS LOCKED IN THE DRESSING ROOM... i couldnt open it.. i tried and tried. She ended up somehow climbing over the stall and down. (i was torn between laughing hysterically and apologizing profusely) I told her that they never briefed me on what kind of discount they might give on "i'm sorry you got locked in our dressing room."
But do you want to know what made it rockin awesome? First- i need to explain that the higher ups decide what our projected sales are for the day and we need to meet them or else they get super upset. Today their projected whatever was around $730? around there. But we made day around 3 or 4.. (which i was totally stoked about bytheway) and by the time we closed our register at 9 pm, it was doubled. thats right folks.. doubled. And i made like $1200 worth of sales. I did a jig inside. And Morgan came in at some point which was good cause she got me food and i was starving-- and then.. the world went crazy.. i was talking fast and crazy-like and was chipper.. more than normal.. probably cause i knew the end was coming.. not the end of the world but the end of the night, besides me rockin the sales floor.
take that flipper
i need to find my gadget to post more pictures from Holi.
later kids
