2 weeks... In exactly 2 weeks I will be done with school. this makes me want to curse. I dont know what to do with myself. Yes.. I am beyond excited to finally be done with school.. (finally!!) BUT!! I am a little freaked to know that this place that I call home wont be anymore. I have met some pretty amazing people and I am not sure how to leave them. I have grown fond of this stupid town, although I really hate the winter. This is a huge change.. and I dont cope with change all that well. yikes-a-bee...
Things I will miss:
Friends: Kj, Lori, Kate, Caitlin, Bryan...
Teachers: I have had some pretty amazingly wonderful teachers who are a kick in the pants.. Brother Merrill and Sister Soper... There is more but those are my favorite.
Campus: (In the summer and early fall) This really is a beautiful campus and I love being here. The Spirit of Ricks is alive and well...
Late nights
Early mornings
movie marathons
cheap movie theatres
WINCO! sadness....
The Temple.. being right across the street. Imagine waking up to that every morning?

Things I look forward to...
Now that I have been all depressed and pessimistic, here are the things that I am totally pumped about...
FAMILY!! (isnt it about... time?) I will be living with my brother, close to Bek, and a few short hours from Colleen. Of course, mom is leaving come june though but... yea.
Nieces and Nephews
Being back in AZ! I love it there. It really is beautiful.
NEW STUFF! New apartment, job, books, movies, ward, people
Old- there are some people that I met up here that are in the PHX area.. score...
Living with Derk- and no longer with 5 hormonal PMS-y girls... yea-ha-hess!
NO MORE FREAKING PAPERS!
Reading for fun!!! And things I want to read... NO MORE DUE DATES
Broadway shows coming to Gammage
Cool new bands
Karan Casey

things are lookin up..

oh my goodness this post made me all sentimental...because I totally remember feeling like life would not go on when I had to leave my first home away from home. I know...it's Thatcher and that probably makes you laugh but I totally know how you feel. Life will keep being great though, and I'm glad you have a whole list of things to look forward to. I mean AZ! That right there would be enough to make me smile the rest of my life. I am so homesick for AZ...I hate the cold. Glad you have a blog! This will be fun!
